Anew Era TMS & Psychiatry Therapists
James Noftle
LMFT/EMDR Certified
James has extensive experience assisting clients with anxiety, depression, internal conflict, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma, marital conflict, and self-harm. His experience includes a variety of settings including hospital settings, clinical settings and private practice settings. Each professional setting provided me with exceptional insight and understanding. He utilizes evidence-based practices and intervention modalities that have merit.
Prior to the field of psychotherapy, he was a public school teacher, administrator, and university professor. James earned his Doctorate in Education/Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. His passion and commitment, coupled with a deep sense of genuine care, allows him to develop a strong therapeutic alliance with each client. Moreover, James has overcome personal obstacles and challenges in life that allow me to relate not only theoretically, but experientially.
Psychotherapy is akin to sorting through the pieces of a large puzzle. By helping patients connect present-day issues with past events, we are able to make sense of our behavior and begin to affect change, as we connect the puzzle pieces. James enjoys facilitating groups to address Anger Management and Self-Harm. Please contact him if you are interested in participating in one of the groups identified.
