David Gonzalez
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, David’s desire to help people transformed in a different way. In 2013, David graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. He began working as a mental health technician and transitioned to a psychiatric nurse, where he helped coordinate psychiatric care for multiple units within two inpatient psychiatric hospitals in Corpus Christi and San Antonio.
In 2018, David graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with his Master of Science in Nursing degree. He chose to launch himself further into the field of psychiatry by becoming a traveling Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As an ANCC-Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
He helps people understand this capability by placing everyone at the center of their own treatment, collaborating with an excellent psychiatric care treatment team, and offering a variety of evidence-based therapeutic treatment options. By doing so, the goal of helping someone take steps toward a healthier lifestyle is achieved.
