I believe therapy is a space for healing, self-discovery, and meaningful growth—a place where you can feel supported and empowered to become your most authentic self. I approach each person with respect, compassion, and sensitivity, creating a safe and collaborative environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences without judgment.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. I believe that meaningful change happens through connection, self-awareness, and building on the strengths you already have.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Victim Studies from Sam Houston State University. I have experience providing care in both residential and private practice settings. I also previously served as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, an experience that continues to shape my trauma-informed, compassionate approach to therapy.
I work with adolescents and adults ages 15 and up and support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, adjustment challenges, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, addiction, eating disorders, ADHD, and relationship and confidence concerns. I also work with individuals navigating career transitions, burnout, panic, phobias, social anxiety, childhood trauma, domestic and emotional abuse, codependency, and other life challenges.
My approach is individualized because I believe there is no single path to healing. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered and person-centered approaches, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-focused therapy, and gender-affirming counseling.
Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, respected, and understood. Whether you are working through a difficult experience, feeling stuck, navigating a major transition, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you and help you move toward greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
